About The Position
Dishwashers support kitchen tasks, keep the back of the house maintained, washing dishes and appliances, small wares cleaned and sanitized, emptying trash receptacles, scrubbing floors, restocking items, and performing other tasks to ensure that the kitchen areas are clean and prepared for customers.
Requirements
- Food Handler Card
- Ability to stand, climb, balance, stoop, and kneel for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and/or move objects up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to keep up with a high volume of tasks.
- Effective communication skills with coworkers.
- Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
Nice To Haves
- Prior restaurant experience.
- Prior dishwashing experience.
- Experience in high-volume work environments.
Responsibilities
- Wash dirty utensils, pots, grills, and dishes by hand and/or using a dishwasher.
- Properly use detergent and sanitizer.
- Clear hazards.
- Clean and detail equipment.
- Empty and clean garbage cans.
- Sweep and mop floors.
- Sanitize walls.
- Clean rings with a scraper/scrubber.
- Operate a soak tank.
- Recycle cardboard.
- Perform other assigned duties.
