This position is responsible for ensuring all dishes and silverware used in the kitchen are always clean and ready for use. The role involves utilizing proper procedures for washing and sanitizing dishes, flatware, pots, and pans, as well as loading and transporting tray carts. The dishwasher will also be responsible for cleaning the work area, including kitchen walls, floors, and rubber mats, and maintaining sanitation standards according to county, state, and federal regulations.
