About The Position

Phoenix at Milton is seeking a Dishwasher to join their team! The Dishwasher is responsible for performing various kitchen cleaning and storage activities such as dish washing, pot washing, general and equipment cleaning, storage and rotation of food and supplies. They are also responsible for janitorial duties in various dining services areas such as the Dining Room, Bistro, and other areas associated with Dining Activities. The role requires handling all foods, storage, and cleaning activities in accordance with sanitary procedures and standards, and compliance with all federal, state, and local regulatory procedures regarding food storage, cleaning, and preparation.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED required
• One (1) year job related experience

Responsibilities

• Set-up and maintenance of the dish and pot washing area.
• Operation of dish machine(s) according to Food Safety Standards.
• Properly washing and sanitizing all dishes, china, silverware, glassware, utensils, and cookware.
• Set-up and maintenance of the pot and pan sink according to Food Safety Standards.
• Cleaning large and small production equipment as directed, such as stoves, ovens, fryers, microwaves, mixers, slicers, refrigerators, freezers, work tables, prep sinks, hoods, and ventilation screens.
• Performing various kitchen cleaning and storage activities.
• Performing janitorial duties in various dining services areas.
