Dishwasher (Full Time)
About The Position
We are hiring immediately for full-time Dishwasher positions. This role is responsible for maintaining dishes, pots, pans, trays, kitchen, work areas, equipment, and utensils in an orderly and sanitary condition. The position involves scraping and rinsing food from dirty dishes, washing them by hand or machine, and ensuring complete cleanliness and sanitation. The dishwasher will also wash pots, pans, and trays according to assigned procedures, polish silver, and ensure compliance with safety procedures. Maintaining temperatures and chemical levels, keeping the dish area orderly, sweeping and mopping floors, washing food prep surfaces, removing trash, and steaming/hosing out garbage cans are also key responsibilities. The role may involve transferring supplies and equipment, and helping to load and unload supplies and product. This is a full-time position with a fixed pay rate of $17.00 per hour.

Responsibilities
- Scrapes and rinses food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or places them in racks or on a conveyor to the dishwashing machine.
- Ensures complete cleanliness and sanitation of dishes, pots, pans, trays, kitchen, work areas, equipment, and utensils.
- Washes pots, pans, and trays based on assigned procedures.
- Polishes silver using a burnishing machine tumbler, chemical dip, buffing wheel, and hand cloth.
- Ensures compliance with outlined safety procedures.
- Maintains temperatures and chemical levels as outlined by provided standards.
- Keeps the dish area orderly and in compliance with safety standards.
- Sweeps and mops kitchen floors to ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards.
- Washes worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks, and other food prep surfaces.
- Removes trash and places it in designated containers.
- Steam cleans or hoses out garbage cans.
- Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
- Helps load and unload supplies and product.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
