About The Position
The Dishwasher is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout the kitchen by cleaning and organizing dishes, utensils, equipment, and work areas.
Requirements
- High school diploma is required
- Fluent in English
- Must pass criminal background check
- 1 year of previous related experience
Responsibilities
- Wash, rinse, and sanitize all dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using automated dishwashers and manual methods.
- Properly sort, dry, and store all clean items to ensure they are readily available for kitchen staff use.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and kitchen, including sweeping and mopping floors, cleaning and sanitizing equipment, and wiping down work surfaces.
- Empty trash receptacles, break down boxes, and properly dispose of waste and recycling in designated areas.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health guidelines at all times.
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks and perform additional duties as requested by chefs or managers.
- Assist with receiving and storing food and supply deliveries.
- Clean and detail kitchen equipment, including fryers, tilt skillets, grills, and flat-top stoves.
- Monitor and report any issues with dishwashing machines and other kitchen equipment.
- Assist with end-of-shift cleaning and sanitizing of the kitchen.
