About The Position

The company is looking for Dishwashers to maintain the cleanliness and sanitation standard for all dinnerware, cooking utensils, glassware, etc., using machine and manual processes with the highest regard for the Company’s Safety and Sanitation standards and regulations, while contributing to the overall cleanliness of the kitchen. Chompie’s was founded in 1979 by the Borenstein Family, bringing classic family recipes from Queens, New York to Phoenix, Arizona. In 2019, JRI Hospitality welcomed the Chompie’s team to the family. Today, Chompie’s operates full-service restaurants with an in-house bakery delivering fresh and delicious menu items. Requirements

  • 16+ years of age
  • reliable transportation
  • available to work flexible shifts to include mornings, days, evenings, and weekends.
  • Maintain professional appearance and a positive attitude.
  • Must have or be able to gain knowledge of all cleaning supplies and ensure the proper concentrations of chemicals are being maintained in the dish machine and the mop sink.
  • acquiring and maintaining a current Maricopa County Food Service Worker Certification

Responsibilities

  • Efficiently keeps up with dishwashing responsibilities to support the overall business operations.
  • Adheres to our standards of health and safety guidelines, including acquiring and maintaining a current Maricopa County Food Service Worker Certification, maintaining a clean apron, proper hand washing procedures, temperature danger zone, etc.
  • Must have or be able to gain knowledge of all cleaning supplies and ensure the proper concentrations of chemicals are being maintained in the dish machine and the mop sink.
  • Maintains good hygiene and frequent washing of hands to maintain a safe environment for guests and coworkers.
  • Be prepared for each shift on time according to scheduled shifts and maintain a regular and predictive attendance record and arrive in proper uniform maintaining a neat and kept appearance conveying a professional image for our guests.
