About The Position

The Dishwasher is responsible for maintaining a clean and sanitary kitchen environment. This includes washing dishes, glasses, pots, and pans, as well as ensuring the overall cleanliness of the kitchen area. The role also involves assisting with other kitchen duties and banquet events as needed.

Requirements

• Ability to work Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday mornings from 6am-12pm.
• High work ethic and self-initiative.

Responsibilities

• Use established guidelines to correctly utilize and maintain the dish machine.
• Wash glasses and dishes in a standard dish rack.
• Wash pots and pans in the designated pot washer's area.
• Perform all required cleaning to keep the kitchen neat and clean at all times, including sweeping up broken glass/dishes and mopping spills.
• Empty full and heavy trash cans, ensuring they are sprayed and sanitized after each use, and placing new trash bags in the container after each cleaning.
• Follow all MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet) protocols and safety guidelines.
• Perform other duties in other areas of the Kitchen as assigned, including assisting with plating banquet events when needed.
