Dishwasher (Part Time)
About The Position
We are hiring immediately for part time DISHWASHER positions. This role is responsible for maintaining dishes, pots, pans, trays, kitchen, work areas, equipment and utensils in orderly and sanitary condition. The job involves scraping and rinsing food from dirty dishes and washing them by hand or using a dishwashing machine. It also includes washing pots, pans, and trays, polishing silver, and ensuring compliance with safety and sanitation standards. The dishwasher will also be responsible for maintaining temperatures and chemical levels, keeping the dish area orderly, sweeping and mopping floors, washing food prep surfaces, removing trash, and steaming/hosing out garbage cans. Additionally, the role involves transferring supplies and equipment, helping load and unload supplies, and performing other assigned duties.
Requirements
- Prior dishwashing experience is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities
- Scrapes and rinses food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or places them in racks or on conveyor to dishwashing machine.
- Ensures complete cleanliness and sanitation of dishes.
- Washes pots, pans and trays based on assigned procedures.
- Ensures complete cleanliness and sanitation of pots, pans and trays.
- Polishes silver using burnishing machine tumbler, chemical dip, buffing wheel and hand cloth.
- Ensures complete cleanliness and sanitation of polished silver.
- Ensures compliance with outlined safety procedures.
- Maintains temperatures and chemical levels as outlined by provided standards.
- Keeps dish area orderly and in compliance with safety standards.
- Sweeps and mops kitchen floors to ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards.
- Washes worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks and other food prep surfaces.
- Removes trash and places it in designated containers.
- Steam cleans or hoses out garbage cans.
- Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
- Helps load and unload supplies and product.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
