About The Position

Maintains kitchen work areas and restaurant equipment and utensils in clean and orderly condition by performing the following duties. Scrapes food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or places them in racks or on conveyor to dish-washing machine.

Requirements

Ability to read a limited number of two- and three-syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers.
Ability to print and speak simple sentences.
Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls.
Frequently required to reach with hands and arms.
Occasionally required to walk; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear.
Must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Less than high school education; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Up to one month related experience or training.
