About The Position

The Dishwasher is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of all dishes, glassware, and kitchen equipment. This role involves using dishwashing machines and manual washing techniques, ensuring the kitchen area is kept neat and clean, and assisting with other kitchen duties as needed. The position requires a strong work ethic, self-initiative, and the ability to work as part of a team to provide excellent guest experiences. Flexibility in scheduling, including nights, weekends, and holidays, may be required.

Responsibilities

  • Use established guidelines to correctly operate and maintain the dish machine.
  • Wash glasses and dishes in a standard dish rack.
  • Wash pots and pans in the designated pot washer's area.
  • Ensure all required cleaning is performed to keep the kitchen neat and clean at all times.
  • Sweep up broken glass/dishes and mop up any spills.
  • Empty full and heavy trash cans, ensuring they are sprayed and sanitized after each use.
  • Place new trash bags in containers after each cleaning.
  • Follow all MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet) protocols and safety guidelines.
  • Perform other duties in other areas of the Kitchen as assigned, including assisting with plating banquet events when needed.
