This role is responsible for ensuring all service and kitchen wares are clean and sanitized. The Dishwasher interacts with fellow team members and supervisors in a polite and courteous manner to ensure gracious hospitality. Essential functions include anticipating and accommodating the needs of all employees, aiding in cleaning inside and outside the venue, proper storage and removal of garbage and soiled linens, and maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of the dish station, the kitchen, and the entire venue. The position requires following supervisor's instructions, communicating with and supporting co-workers, possessing in-depth knowledge of the dish machine and proper usage of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and supplies, and complying with Department of Health and company sanitation standards. The Dishwasher will also communicate product needs to chefs/purchaser, properly set up the dish station, perform opening/closing procedures, report all breakage and damage, attend pre-service meetings and training sessions, learn by observing and sharing knowledge, portray a positive and professional attitude, demonstrate knowledge of Tao Group Hospitality and its partners, work as part of a team, and assist with additional tasks as assigned.
