Dishwasher-PM Shift 5PM-1AM
About The Position
The Dishwasher is responsible for washing all wares including pots, pans, flatware, and glasses, by hand or using dishwashers. They will place and store clean equipment, dishes, and utensils in assigned storage areas, and stock serving stations, cupboards, refrigerators, and other assigned areas with necessary dishes and utensils. The role also involves cleaning trash receptacles, moving dishwashing supplies and equipment, and assisting in cleaning and preparing various foods. A key aspect of the role is ensuring work areas remain safe, clean, and orderly, adhering to all company, local, and state guidelines regarding health, safety, and sanitation. Additional duties include cleaning hood vents, fryer, and grease trap, cleaning the dish tank, stainless steel, and drains, and ensuring correct wash and rinse temperatures. The Dishwasher must also ensure hand soap and hand towel stations are replenished and perform additional responsibilities as assigned by leadership.

Responsibilities

- Cleans trash receptacles with water or steam
- Moves dishwashing supplies and equipment from storage to work area
- Assists in cleaning and preparing various foods for cooking and/or serving as needed
- Ensures work areas remain safe, clean, and orderly, adhering to all company, local, and state guidelines regarding health, safety, and sanitation
- Cleans hood vents, fryer, and grease trap
- Cleans dish tank, stainless steel, and drains and ensures correct wash and rinse temperatures
- Ensures hand soap and hand towel stations are replenished
- Performs additional responsibilities as assigned by leadership
