About The Position
We are searching for an experienced dishwasher to join our talented team here at Pardo's. As a Dishwasher, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and efficiency of our kitchen operations. You will be responsible for cleaning and sanitizing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment, ensuring a safe and sanitary environment for food preparation.
Requirements
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
- Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items (up to 50 pounds).
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience as a dishwasher in a restaurant or commercial kitchen is a plus but not mandatory.
Responsibilities
- Operate dishwashing equipment, including industrial dishwashers, sinks, and drying racks.
- Clean and sanitize all dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans promptly.
- Sort and stack clean dishes and utensils in their designated areas.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the dishwashing area and kitchen floors by sweeping, mopping, and disposing of waste properly.
- Assist kitchen staff with basic food preparation and restocking whenever needed.
- Follow health and safety guidelines, including proper handling of chemicals and waste disposal.
- Report any maintenance or equipment issues to the kitchen manager promptly.
