About The Position

Larksfield Place Retirement Communities is seeking a dependable and hardworking Dishwasher to join their Dining Services team. This part-time evening position plays a crucial role in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen, ensuring an exceptional dining experience for residents. The role requires attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience is a plus but not required, as the company values a positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Ability to follow instructions, maintain sanitation standards, and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness and food safety
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift and carry kitchen supplies, and perform repetitive physical tasks
• Dependable attendance and availability to work the designated schedule, including weekends and holidays as scheduled
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Must meet applicable vaccination and TB screening requirements

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Previous dishwashing, kitchen, or food service experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial dishwashing equipment to clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, glassware, and kitchen equipment
• Hand-wash pots, pans, and other items that require special cleaning
• Maintain clean, organized, and properly stocked dishwashing and storage areas
• Follow established food safety, sanitation, and chemical handling procedures
• Clean and sanitize kitchen surfaces, equipment, floors, and work areas
• Collect and dispose of trash and kitchen waste throughout the shift
• Communicate equipment issues, supply needs, and safety concerns to Dining Services leadership
• Work collaboratively with cooks, servers, and other team members to support smooth dining operations
• Perform additional kitchen support duties as needed
