About The Position
We're hiring a reliable and hardworking Dishwasher to support the kitchen operation at a large, full-service hotel in Aurora. In this essential role, you'll help maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen while supporting the culinary team during busy service periods.
Requirements
- Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Reliable, hardworking, and attentive to detail
- Able to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds and safely handle heavy racks, pots, and pans
- Available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Able to communicate effectively and work as part of a team
Nice To Haves
- Previous dishwasher or food-service experience preferred but not required
Responsibilities
- Operate commercial dishwashing equipment to clean dishes, cookware, utensils, trays, and kitchen tools
- Wash and sanitize pots, pans, and other items by hand when necessary
- Return clean dishes and equipment to the appropriate storage areas
- Keep the dishwashing area clean, organized, and properly stocked
- Remove trash and recycling and maintain clean waste-disposal areas
- Sweep and mop kitchen floors
- Clean sinks, workstations, and storage areas
- Assist with organizing kitchen supplies and equipment
- Support the kitchen team with cleaning and other assigned duties
- Follow all food-safety, sanitation, and workplace-safety procedures
