About The Position

Novellus Clairemont is seeking a Dishwasher to join their team. This role is crucial for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of the dish room, kitchen surfaces, floors, and waste areas within a senior living environment. The Dishwasher will support kitchen and dining teams by ensuring a steady supply of clean dishes and serviceware, follow all food safety and infection control procedures, and assist with basic kitchen tasks. The position requires respectful and professional interaction with senior residents and team members, and prompt reporting of any equipment issues or safety concerns to leadership. Both full-time and PRN (as needed) schedules are available.

Requirements

• Must be 16 years or older
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 15 pounds at a time
• Applicants for this position must be able to produce a negative drug test
• Applicants may be subject to a background check
• Employees in this position must be able to satisfactorily perform the essential functions of the position

Nice To Haves

• Previous kitchen or dishwashing experience, preferred
• Kitchen and dining room-related experience, preferred

Responsibilities

• Wash, sanitize, and properly store dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment according to food safety standards
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of dish room, kitchen surfaces, floors, and waste areas
• Support kitchen and dining teams by ensuring a steady supply of clean dishes and serviceware
• Follow infection control, safety, and sanitation procedures required in a senior living environment
• Assist with basic kitchen tasks such as trash removal, sweeping, mopping, and restocking supplies
• Interact respectfully and professionally with senior residents and team members when in shared spaces
• Report equipment issues, supply shortages, or safety concerns to leadership promptly
