About The Position
The Dishwasher is responsible for maintaining a clean and sanitary kitchen environment by managing the dishwashing and pot washing stations. This role involves operating dish machines, using a three-compartment sink for pots and pans, and ensuring all cooking lines are kept clear of used utensils and equipment. Additionally, the Dishwasher will assist with waste disposal, including trash and cardboard, and perform regular cleaning duties such as sweeping and mopping kitchen floors and coolers. The position requires the ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
Requirements
- Able to stand for 8+ hours.
- Able to lift upwards of 50 pounds.
- Organizational skills.
- Ability to work in hot temperatures.
Responsibilities
- Set-up dish washing station.
- Set-up pot washing station.
- Follow proper procedures of running dishes through a conveyor dish machine.
- Follow proper pot washing procedures using a three-compartment sink.
- Keep a la carte line and banquet line clear of dirty pots, pans, utensils, etc.
- Disposing of trash bags to the dumpster frequently.
- Breaking down and disposing of cardboard boxes.
- Sweeping and mopping of kitchen floors and coolers.
