About The Position

The Dishwasher is responsible for maintaining a clean and sanitary kitchen environment. This includes washing dishes, pots, pans, and utensils, as well as cleaning kitchen equipment and work areas. The role ensures that all food service areas meet established standards for cleanliness and sanitation.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of sanitation and food safety standards.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to follow instructions.
• Must be able to work the 2nd shift (12:30 PM - 9:00 PM).

Nice To Haves

• Experience with commercial dishwashing equipment.
• Familiarity with hospital or healthcare food service operations.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, pots, pans, and utensils using dishwashing equipment or by hand.
• Scrape, rinse, and load dishes and utensils into dishwashing machines.
• Wash and sanitize all dishes, glassware, silverware, and cooking utensils.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing area.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, including ovens, grills, and stovetops.
• Sweep and mop kitchen floors.
• Empty trash and recycling bins.
• Assist with food preparation and stocking as needed.
• Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations.
• Follow established cleaning schedules and procedures.
