About The Position

Village Tavern is hiring immediately for Dishwasher positions with full-time and part-time opportunities and a variety of day, evening, and weekend shifts available. This is an entry-level restaurant opportunity with highly competitive pay, scheduled pay reviews, training, and growth opportunities. Reliability, good attendance, punctuality, professionalism, kindness, and a positive attitude are essential. Starting pay is $15–$19 per hour based on experience, with potential for more where appropriate.

Nice To Haves

1-3 years of experience in restaurants (training provided for the right person)

Responsibilities

Operate an industrial dishwasher, washing dishes and glassware by hand when necessary
Unload dishes, silverware, and glassware promptly and store them in the appropriate places
Carry out basic cleaning tasks around the premises, including emptying trash cans, cleaning drink machines, and cleaning any spills and broken glass immediately
Comply with sanitation regulations and safety standards
Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
Arrive on time and in clean, uniform with a positive attitude ready to work
Assist cooks and servers as needed, especially during peak hours
Other duties as requested
Answer, report and follow Manager’s instructions
