About The Position
Primarily responsible for operating and maintaining cleaning equipment and tools. Also responsible for washing dishes, chinaware, flatware, cutlery, crockery, kitchen vessels, sweeping and mopping floors, cleaning, and detailing equipment's etc. Maintains the kitchen, dish washing and back area in an inspection-ready condition in accordance with local authority and hotel guidelines.

Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and tools.
- Wash dishes, chinaware, flatware, cutlery, crockery, and kitchen vessels.
- Sweep and mop floors.
- Clean and detail equipment.
- Maintain the kitchen, dish washing, and back area in an inspection-ready condition in accordance with local authority and hotel guidelines.
- Dispose of waste as per hotel and authority standards and adhere to recycling guidelines.
- Carry out general cleaning including sweeping, mopping, washing up, and emptying rubbish bins and boxes, ensuring placement in correct containers.
- Ensure all equipment is clean and in good working order.
- Assist in light food preparation as directed by manager or chef on duty.
