About The Position

Taher, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Dishwasher to join their team. This is a full-time position with daytime hours, offering a great work-life balance with no nights or weekends required. The role involves maintaining a clean and sanitary work environment, assisting with food preparation and cleanup, and adhering to all safety and hygiene standards. Taher, Inc. is a family-owned and operated food service management company specializing in K-12 school lunch management.

Requirements

Able to follow oral and written directions
Able to reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift up to 50 pounds
Able work in standing position for long periods of time
Punctual and dependable
Follows food safety requirements and guidelines
Self-starter that can work independently
Must pass criminal background check

Responsibilities

Scrape, wash and put away dishes, pots, pans, and utensils as required either by hand or with dish machine
Sweep and mop floors
Wash tables walls, coolers, trash receptacles, etc., as required
Follows procedures for storage and disposal of trash and transports it to designated areas
Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas
Maintain clean work environment
Assists other team members as needed
Be on time
Maintain assigned work station in a safe and sanitary condition
Maitain acceptable standards of personal hygiene and complies with department dress code
Other tasks as assigned by the leadership team
