About The Position

Chesapeake's is now hiring a Dishwasher to join our team at our West Knoxville location! As a Dishwasher, you'll play an important role in keeping our kitchen running smoothly by maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment. You'll be responsible for washing dishes, pots, and pans, operating commercial dishwashing equipment, and assisting with general cleaning and sanitation throughout the restaurant.

Requirements

• Team player with a positive attitude and sense of humor
• Smiles easily and enjoys working with others
• Basic math skills and understanding of simple measurements and conversions
• Ability to tare and use a digital scale
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and more with assistance
• Able to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the entire shift
• Ability to follow recipes and directions accurately

Nice To Haves

• Previous restaurant experience preferred, but not required

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment
• Follow all sanitation and food safety standards
• Operate commercial dishwashing equipment safely and efficiently
• Prioritize dish and pot washing to support kitchen operations
• Perform janitorial and cleaning duties in kitchen and dining service areas
• Comply with all local, state, and federal health regulations
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe workplace
