Dishwasher (Part Time)
About The Position
Morrison Living is hiring immediately for a part time DISHWASHER position. This role is responsible for maintaining dishes, pots, pans, trays, kitchen, work areas, equipment, and utensils in an orderly and sanitary condition. The position requires ensuring complete cleanliness and sanitation of all items and areas, maintaining temperatures and chemical levels, keeping the dish area orderly, sweeping and mopping floors, washing food prep surfaces, removing trash, and assisting with supply transfers and loading/unloading. Requirements
- Previous dishwashing experience in a fast-paced environment preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 25lbs.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.

Responsibilities
- Scrapes and rinses food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or places them in racks or on a conveyor to the dishwashing machine.
- Ensures complete cleanliness and sanitation of dishes, pots, pans, and trays.
- Polishes silver using appropriate equipment and procedures.
- Ensures compliance with outlined safety procedures.
- Maintains temperatures and chemical levels as outlined by provided standards.
- Keeps the dish area orderly and in compliance with safety standards.
- Sweeps and mops kitchen floors to ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards.
- Washes worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks, and other food prep surfaces.
- Removes trash and places it in designated containers.
- Steam cleans or hoses out garbage cans.
- Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
- Helps load and unload supplies and product.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
