About The Position

At Magnolia, the Dishwasher is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards for dishes, glassware, tableware, cooking utensils, etc. using machine and manual cleaning methods. This position ensures the dishwashing area is maintained as a clean, safe, and sanitary environment. This position works from Magnolia Table in Waco, Texas. It reports to the Assistant Kitchen Manager and has no supervisory responsibilities.

Requirements

• Food Handler's license required upon hire
• Strong customer service skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to maintain a pleasant and professional demeanor while working with a sense of urgency

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
• 0-1 years of related work experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment safely and in line with best use practices for each piece of equipment, including the industrial dishwasher
• Work as a team player and provide assistance to other kitchen staff as needed, especially during peak hours
• Assist with trash runs
• Ensure glass and mug racks are maintained, organized and clean
• Ensure glassware, silverware, dishes, and restaurant food holding and prep equipment are cleaned thoroughly
• Carry out instructions of kitchen management
• Adhere to standards of, cleanliness, and sanitation
• Contribute to a safe and clean working environment
• Perform other duties as assigned
