About The Position

Sapp Bros., Inc. is looking for a Dishwasher to join their team. This role is responsible for creating a welcoming environment for guests by ensuring all dishes, glasses, and silverware are properly cleaned and sanitized. The dishwasher will also perform housekeeping duties such as sweeping and mopping floors, removing trash, and ensuring the kitchen is stocked and orderly. The position requires a complete understanding of all assigned duties, the ability to operate necessary equipment, and adherence to sanitation standards. Additionally, the role involves assisting in other areas as assigned by management.

Requirements

• Minimum 18 years of age
• Must be able to be on your feet and alert for extended periods of time
• Must be able to work positively and as a team in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment
• Knowledge of cleaning methods, materials and equipment
• Continuous use of hands and arms as well as bending, reaching and twisting
• Provide proper documentation establishing identity and eligibility to be legally employed in the United States
• Willing to undergo a criminal background and employment reference check

Responsibilities

• Ensure all dishes, glasses, and silverware are properly cleaned and sanitized.
• Perform housekeeping duties including sweeping and mopping floors.
• Remove trash from the kitchen area.
• Ensure the kitchen is stocked and orderly.
• Operate all equipment needed to properly clean dishes.
• Follow all sanitation standards within the department.
• Help out in other areas as assigned by manager.
