About The Position
The Daily is an upscale cafe with the mission of serving delicious and nourishing food/beverages to our guests and connecting with the larger community. We are seasonally driven, healthfully influenced, and live our values. We make everything in-house and, as much as possible, utilize local ingredients. We take care of our team so they can take care of our guests. We are looking for a motivated Dishwasher to join our team! Our dishwashers contribute to an exceptional dining experience by transporting and cleaning cooking utensils and other service ware, and maintaining clean work areas and restaurant equipment. Duties include washing dishes, taking out trash, sweeping/mopping floors, and occasionally prepping food.
Requirements
- Must be 16 years of age or older
- Previous dishwashing experience of 1 year
- Open and flexible availability, including early mornings, afternoons, and weekends
- Knowledge of safety, sanitation, and food handling best practices
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Constant standing, walking, stopping
- Occasional kneeling, crawling, pushing, pulling, lifting, climbing ladders, and carrying of up to 50lbs
Responsibilities
- Transporting and cleaning cooking utensils and other service ware
