About The Position
A Dishwasher at the Denver Athletic Club works with other Dishwashers to keep dishes, equipment, utensils, and kitchen work areas orderly and sanitary. The role involves cleaning food from plates, utensils, pots, pans, and other cookware; returning clean items to their appropriate storage areas; and maintaining a clean, sanitary workstation. Dishwashers are expected to help coworkers as needed and contribute as team players. The position is based at 1325 Glenarm Place in downtown Denver. Full-time hours are available, primarily on evening shifts, with no late-night work required. Weekend availability is preferred. Applicants must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test. Requirements
- Some dishwashing experience in the restaurant industry.
- Ability to work well within a team.
- Ability to work quickly to keep up with the pace of the kitchen.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
- Ability to place plates, equipment, utensils, and cookware on high and low shelves.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test.
