About The Position

As a Dishwasher, you will be responsible for washing and unloading dishes, pots, pans, silverware, china, utensils, and equipment. This role is crucial in maintaining the cleanliness and efficiency of the kitchen operations. You will be expected to use proper procedures for cleaning and storing items, comply with all health and safety codes, and stock necessary supplies. The position also involves performing daily cleaning duties, potentially scrubbing floors, and sanitizing equipment and work areas. A key aspect of this role is consistently maintaining a positive attitude, supporting a team environment, and promoting positive public relations with residents, family members, and guests.

Requirements

• Prior restaurant or dishwashing experience is preferred, but not required.
• Must be friendly, display a positive attitude, and have good teamwork skills.
• Good communication skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Use proper procedures for cleaning and storing items - comply with all applicable state and local health/safety codes.
• Stock soap, towels, and paper products throughout the kitchen.
• Perform daily or scheduled cleaning duties in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• May be required to scrub and mop floors, clean and sanitize equipment and work areas.
• Consistently maintain a positive attitude, supporting a team environment with other Dishwashers and the culinary team.
• Promote positive public relations with residents, family members, and guests.
