Safely operate the commercial dishwasher and clean all kitchen dishware, pots, utensils, knives, etc.
Work in a productive pace environment, especially during holidays and busy times of the day
Consistently move, adjust, and position items weighing up to 50 pounds
Ability to remain in a stationary position for duration of shift
Occasionally ascend/descend a stepstool, stepladder, and/or ladder
Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers for duration of shift
Communicate with others to exchange information
Moving self in different positions to accomplish tasks including in tight and confined spaces
Full availability is required for this position.

Responsibilities

Provide friendly, polite, and knowledgeable service to customers, greeting them personally and thanking them.
Operate dishwashing machines or wash items by hand, monitoring water temperature for sanitary cycles.
Clean and sanitize equipment, preparation areas, and production areas during shifts and at closing.
Clean dishes and equipment, putting them away once dry.
Clean and mop floors, keeping work area floors clean and dry.
Keep all department storage areas clean and organized.
Receive deliveries, check weights for accuracy, and match inventory to bills.
Bag trash and dispose of it in the compactor and recycling.
Fill in as needed for smooth and efficient department operation, including prep work or assisting customers.
Prioritize customer assistance over other tasks when needed.
