About The Position
Mountainside Treatment Center is seeking a Dishwasher/Kitchen Staff to work in harmony with all members of the food service team while maintaining and assisting in various aspects of the kitchen. As a member of the food services team, the Kitchen Staff’s duties include various kitchen maintenance, as well as keeping the dining / kitchen clean and organized.
Requirements
- Must be able to work nights, weekends and some holidays
- Professional communication skills required
- To be teachable as well as flexible to day to day needs/demands of the kitchen
Nice To Haves
- Some kitchen experience helpful, but not required
Responsibilities
- Performing kitchen maintenance: emptying the trash, sweeping and mopping floors and washing dishes
- Clear plates and run commercial dishwasher, return dishes to correct locations
- Clear and set dining room
- Food preparation, chopping vegetables, making salads and putting together entrees as needed
- Assists with the cleaning, sanitation, and organization of the kitchen, walk-in coolers and all storage areas
- Performs additional responsibilities as requested by the Chef, Sous Chef, Kitchen Manager at any time
- To assist and share in other responsibilities and duties as assigned by the Food Service Director or their representative
