About The Position

Carversteak NY is seeking Brunch & PM Dishwashers to join their new Modern American Steakhouse. Requirements

Ability to stand, lift, and bend for extended periods of time.
Ability to bend and lift up to 50 lbs.
Role may include job duties or tasks requiring repetitive motion.
Ability to work a flexible schedule inclusive of varying shifts such as days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

Cleaning dishes to ensure a steady supply of clean plates, bowls, silverware, pots, pans, and glasses.
Aiding in cleaning inside and outside the venue.
Properly storing and removing garbage and soiled linens.
Maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of the dish station, kitchen, and BOH area in accordance with Health Department standards.
Following supervisor’s instructions, communicating with, and supporting co-workers as a team player.
Possessing in-depth knowledge of the dish machine.
Possessing in-depth knowledge of proper usage of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and supplies.
Communicating product needs to chefs and/or purchaser.
Properly setting up the dish station and performing opening/closing procedures as directed by management.
Reporting all breakage and damage of equipment or furniture immediately to management.
Portraying a positive and professional attitude.
Maintaining professional appearance standards as directed in the Employee Handbook.
