DISHWASHER (PART TIME)
About The Position
Morrison Living is hiring a part-time Dishwasher at Winding Commons Senior Living in Carmichael, California. The role maintains dishes, pots, pans, trays, kitchen and work areas, equipment, and utensils in orderly and sanitary condition. The schedule is part time, with days that may vary from 11:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.; further details are provided during the interview. Pay is $17.40 to $18.50 per hour. The Dishwasher supports the culinary team and hospitality experience by washing dishes and cookware, maintaining clean and safe kitchen areas, and handling supplies and waste. Prior dishwashing experience is preferred. Requirements
- Prior dishwashing experience is preferred.

Responsibilities
- Scrape and rinse food from dirty dishes, then wash them by hand or load them into dishwashing equipment, ensuring cleanliness and sanitation.
- Wash pots, pans, and trays according to assigned procedures, ensuring cleanliness and sanitation.
- Polish silver using the assigned equipment and procedures, ensuring cleanliness and sanitation.
- Follow outlined safety procedures.
- Maintain temperatures and chemical levels according to provided standards.
- Keep the dish area orderly and compliant with safety standards.
- Sweep and mop kitchen floors to meet safety and sanitation standards.
- Wash worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks, and other food preparation surfaces.
- Remove trash to designated containers and steam-clean or hose out garbage cans.
- Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
- Help load and unload supplies and product.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
