About The Position

Egg Harbor Cafe is looking for a Dishwasher to join their Culinary Support Team at their Belleview Station, CO location. This role is crucial for ensuring the back of house runs efficiently and contributes to the best guest experience. The cafe aims to be the top choice for dining in the community by maintaining high standards, providing a family-friendly atmosphere, and serving a diverse menu. Dishwashers are highly valued and work behind the scenes to ensure all dishes, glassware, and silverware are cleaned, sanitized, and organized. The role involves supporting the kitchen with various tasks to maintain smooth operations. Shifts are generally flexible, but weekend and holiday availability is important as these are the busiest times. The restaurant closes at 2 PM daily, meaning no night shifts.

Responsibilities

Clean and sanitize dishes, glassware, and silverware.
Organize clean dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment in storage areas.
Take on janitorial and supportive kitchen tasks, such as emptying trash receptacles, cleaning appliances, sweeping, and mopping floors.
Restock kitchen items.
Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils in clean and orderly conditions.
Clean garbage cans and floor mats with water or steam.
Sort and remove trash, placing it in designated pickup areas.
Maintain and take care of the dish machine.
Understand and apply good sanitation practices according to health department and Hamco standards.
Maintain great working relationships with all team members and communicate efficiently and positively.
