Requirements

Ability to work in hot, wet, humid and loud environment for long periods of time.
Heavy lifting.
Adapt easily to working in different situations.
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
Friendly, outgoing, service-oriented attitude.
Good knowledge of dish machine operations and cleaning maintenance.
Must have previous experience in a high-volume restaurant.
Flexible to work various shifts (including days, evening and weekends). Mainly Thursday to Sunday.

Responsibilities

Load, run and unload dish machine.
Wash dishes using sink method.
Keep the dish machine clean and report any functional or mechanical problems immediately.
Monitor dish machine water temperature to ensure sanitary wash cycle.
Wash and store all kitchenware.
Keep dish room clean and organized.
Bag and haul dish room trash to dumpster at designed times.
Maintain adequate levels of dish detergents and cleaning supplies.
Assist with receiving and shipping if required.
Clean ovens and industrial kitchen equipment as required.
General cleaning duties.
Attends all scheduled employee meetings and brings suggestions for improvement.
Other tasks as required by management or leadership.
