The Dishwasher is responsible for ensuring all service and kitchen wares are clean and sanitized. This role involves interacting with fellow team members and supervisors in a polite and courteous manner to ensure gracious hospitality. The position requires anticipating and accommodating the needs of all employees, aiding in cleaning inside and outside the venue, and proper storage and removal of garbage and soiled linens. The Dishwasher must maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of the dish station, the kitchen, and the entire venue, while following supervisor instructions and supporting co-workers as a team player. A thorough knowledge of the dish machine, proper usage of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and supplies is essential, along with general knowledge of the venue and compliance with Department of Health and company sanitation standards. This role also involves communicating product needs to chefs and/or purchasers, setting up the dish station, performing opening/closing procedures, maintaining and cleaning kitchen equipment, and reporting any equipment or furniture damage immediately to management. The Dishwasher is expected to attend pre-service meetings, training sessions, and departmental meetings, learning by observing and sharing knowledge. A positive and professional attitude, knowledge of Tao Group Hospitality and its partners, and the ability to work as part of a team are crucial. Additional tasks may be assigned as needed.
