About The Position
Hope Valley Country Club is looking for a dependable, hardworking, and positive individual to join our culinary team as a Dishwasher/Steward. We are a private country club in Durham, North Carolina, focused on providing an exceptional experience for our members and guests. Requirements
- Problem solving skills

- Exceptional time management skills
- Walk, sit, stand for long periods of time, bend, use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and talk or hear, stoop, kneel, crouch, close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
- Lift up to 25 lbs. regularly; up to 50 lbs. occasionally and to lift overhead and push/pull, move lighter objects.

Responsibilities
- Washing and properly storing dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans
- Maintaining a clean and organized dishwashing and kitchen area
- Keeping floors, work areas, and equipment clean and safe
- Removing trash and maintaining appropriate waste and recycling areas
- Assisting with kitchen cleaning and closing duties
- Helping culinary and banquet teams with basic tasks as needed
- Maintaining proper sanitation and food safety standards
- Supporting restaurant, banquet, and special-event operations
- Working together with the culinary and service teams to ensure a successful operation
