Requirements

High school diploma or GED, preferred
Current CA Food Handlers Card required
Meets all applicable licensing and background requirements to work in a licensed RCFE
Exceptional verbal communication skills

Ability to work weekends, plus two additional shifts during the week (4 per week total)
Ability to work 3pm - 8pm

Responsibilities

Enriching the lives of our residents by ensuring the cleanliness of the kitchen equipment and utensils and dining glasses, plates and utensils, and doing so with a genuine, deep respect for the individual autonomy of our residents.
Follow standard procedures and best practices to ensure the meticulous cleanliness of the kitchen, including all equipment and utensils, and dining glasses, plates and utensils.
Follow standard procedures and best practices to maintain regulatory compliance with all applicable agencies on all matters related to food service and safety.
Knowledgeable of trash, compost, recycling program.
Assembling, maintaining and breaking down the dish machine.
Washing shared work areas, refrigerators, cooking equipment, walls and floors.
Assist with basic food prep, as requested.
