About The Position
This position operates in a high-volume campus dining kitchen serving large numbers of students daily. Work may involve exposure to hot equipment, cleaning chemicals, loud equipment, and busy service periods.
Requirements
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume food service environment.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Ability to follow the state of North Carolina Health sanitation and safety procedures.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Good time management and attention to detail.
- Willingness to assist in other kitchen support tasks when needed.
- As an essential employee, you will be required to be present at all shifts or on call even during inclement weather.
Nice To Haves
- Previous dishwashing or food service experience.
- Experience working in institutional or high-volume kitchens.
