The Dishwasher is responsible for promptly and carefully sorting soiled ware for proper cleaning, washing all ware and replacing it in designated storage areas. This role involves operating and maintaining the dish machine, de-tarnishing and polishing silverware, and thoroughly cleaning kitchen equipment like kettles, tilt skillets, pots, and pans. The position requires compliance with attendance policies and a willingness to perform other assigned job-related duties. The ideal candidate will have a self-starting personality, maintain a professional appearance, be willing to assist coworkers, and quickly develop knowledge of serviceware maintenance. Physical requirements include the ability to push/pull service carts up to 150 pounds, transport heavy objects through crowded areas, and lift/carry/move goods on a hand cart/truck weighing up to 200 pounds. Weekend, holiday, and flexible shift work is required. An Oregon Food Handler’s Permit must be obtained prior to employment.
