About The Position

As a Dishwasher, you will play a key role in our residents’ dining experience in a welcoming home-like setting. You will maintain a clean and sanitary work environment through collecting service ware, food preparation equipment, and utensils through the use of mechanical and manual ware washing services. Pay starts at $15.00/hour with the opportunity to earn more based on experience. This is a part-time position with benefits, working from 8:30 am to 3:00 pm.

Requirements

• Kitchen, and facility/restaurant dishwashing preferred, but not required.
• A positive customer service attitude demonstrating respect, friendliness and willingness to serve others.
• Ability to work and collaborate well with others and multi-tasking capabilities.
• Ability to perform the physical tasks required in this type of role.
• Have the ability to understand and speak English at a level which allows the safe, efficient performance of the job.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and maintains dishware, production equipment, pots and pans, floors and walls.
• Rotates stock in all food storage areas including various serveries, cafes, and refrigerated units.
• Is polite and cheerful when greeting and serving residents.
• Assists residents with menu selector sheets.
• Properly cleans and sanitizes the dishes and silverware per company standards.
• Is responsible for floor maintenance in the dish room, kitchen and dining areas.
• Operates the dish machine and other kitchen related equipment as needed.
• Properly record temperature and sanitizer test results in temperature logs.
• Maintains a clean, organized work environment.
