About The Position

The Dishwasher is responsible for the cleanliness and organization of the dishes and small wares at the restaurant. Dishwashers will ensure that each item is washed, sanitized, and organized according to the SoNapa sanitation standards. The mission of SoNapa Grille is to delight guests and create lasting memories by transporting them to the heart of wine California Wine Country, through a dining experience that combines wines from Sonoma County and Napa Valley complemented with a chef-inspired, Northern California cuisine, served in a warm and inviting atmosphere.

Requirements

Must have a positive attitude.
No previous restaurant experience required.
Must be able to work in a hot, wet environment for long periods of time.
Must be physically able to bend, reach, and lift heavy items.
Must be able to work in a standing position for up to 8 hours.
Must be able to follow direction and take input from the Leadership Team.

Responsibilities

Uphold SoNapa Grille’s standards on health and safety specifications.
Follow all food safety standards for guests.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Learn the operation of the dish machine and help maintain it daily.
Ensure that all items are cleaned, sanitized, and put in their proper storage area.
Remove stickers from all pans before storing.
Support the restaurant by running dishes quickly to ensure speed of service.
Handle dishes carefully to minimize breakage.
Help with other tasks including trash, floors, and any other tasks assigned.
Leave the work area clean and sanitized at the end of each shift.
