About The Position

The Dishwasher role involves maintaining cleanliness and order in the kitchen by washing dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans, both by hand and using dishwashers. Responsibilities also include placing clean items in designated storage, maintaining kitchen work areas and equipment, sweeping and mopping floors, emptying trash, and ensuring overall cleanliness and safety. The position requires compliance with sanitation regulations and food safety guidelines, assisting with deliveries, and performing other kitchen duties as assigned by the culinary team or supervisor. This role is for a fast-paced and demanding kitchen environment.

Nice To Haves

A high school diploma or equivalent may be preferred.
Proven experience as a dishwasher or in a similar role is a plus.

Responsibilities

Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, or pans using dishwashers or by hand.
Place clean dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment in designated storage areas.
Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils in clean and orderly condition.
Sweep and mop floors, empty trash, and ensure cleanliness and safety in the kitchen area.
Sort and remove trash, placing it in designated pickup areas.
Ensure compliance with sanitation regulations and food safety guidelines.
Assist with unloading and storing deliveries.
Perform other kitchen duties as assigned by the culinary team or supervisor.
