As a Dishwasher, you are essential to ensuring the kitchen and restaurant operate efficiently and meet high cleanliness standards. The Dishwasher is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of dishes, kitchen equipment, and work areas. This role supports the kitchen team by ensuring all tools and materials are clean, organized, and ready for use in a fast-paced restaurant environment. This is a non-exempt position that works closely with back-of-house and front-of-house team members.

Responsibilities

Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment
Operate dishwashing machines safely and efficiently
Maintain cleanliness and organization of dishwashing and kitchen areas
Ensure all sanitation and food safety standards are consistently met
Assist with cleaning tasks throughout the restaurant, including floors and service areas
Remove trash and recycling and maintain cleanliness in waste areas
Support kitchen team by maintaining a steady flow of clean dishes and supplies
Assist with basic prep or kitchen tasks as needed
Follow all safety procedures and company policies
Adapt to varying responsibilities during shifts based on business needs
