About The Position

Westhaven Golf Club has full-time and part-time Dishwasher positions available. Flexible schedules are offered. The dishwasher job involves cleaning and sanitizing kitchenware and equipment, emptying trash, and maintaining a clean work area. Key responsibilities include scraping, rinsing, and loading dishes into a dishwasher, hand-washing pots and delicate items, and putting away clean dishes and utensils. Dishwashers also perform other cleaning and sanitation tasks, and may assist with basic food preparation.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, and cooking utensils using a commercial dishwasher or by hand.
• Scrape, rinse, and load dishes and utensils into the machine, and unload and put away clean items in their proper storage locations.
• Keep kitchen floors swept and scrubbed, and ensure all equipment and work areas are clean and orderly.
• Remove trash from bins and clean them as needed.
• Maintain the correct amounts of detergents and rinse agents and report any issues with the dishwashing machine to a supervisor.
• Assist with basic food preparation.
