About The Position

Wesley Manor Retirement Community is seeking a dependable, hardworking, and team-oriented Dishwasher to join our Dining Services team. The Dishwasher supports the smooth and efficient operation of the kitchen by ensuring dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment are properly cleaned, sanitized, organized, and ready for use. This position plays an important role in maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary dining environment while supporting quality service for our residents.

Nice To Haves

Previous dishwasher, kitchen, or food service experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, pans, trays, and kitchen equipment using the dishwasher or by hand.
Ensure all dishes, utensils, and kitchen items are properly cleaned, sanitized, dried, and stored.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing area.
Remove trash, clean floors, and assist with general kitchen sanitation duties as needed.
Follow all health, sanitation, infection control, and safety regulations and facility guidelines.
Assist kitchen and dining services staff with basic food preparation tasks as assigned.
Restock dishes, utensils, and supplies to support meal service operations.
Support efficient workflow by communicating and collaborating with kitchen and dining services staff.
Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful work environment.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
