About The Position
We are hiring a Dishwasher to ensure the cleanliness of all dishware. This role involves hand washing and operating washing equipment to clean service ware, cookware, and utensils, including polishing stainless and silverware. The Dishwasher also plays a key role in maintaining kitchen safety by promptly clearing spills, cleaning equipment and surfaces, and managing trash bins. Additionally, this position requires assisting with special and deep cleaning projects.
Requirements
- Prior dishwashing or kitchen experience is helpful.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the cleanliness of all dishware by hand washing and operating washing equipment.
- Safely and skillfully operate washing equipment to thoroughly clean all service ware, cookware and utensils.
- Polish stainless and silverware.
- Help maintain safety in the kitchen by clearing spills promptly.
- Keep all kitchen equipment, oven vents, all floor, wall, and cook surfaces thoroughly clean.
- Empty, wash, and return trash bins over ¾ full.
- Keep the wash area organized.
- Pitch in to help with special and deep cleaning projects.
