About The Position

The Dishwasher role is to support the successful operation of the Q39 kitchen by maintaining clean and sanitized dishware, utensils, and equipment. Ensure a steady flow of kitchen essentials, uphold cleanliness standards, and contribute to a safe, organized, and team-focused kitchen environment.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of experience in a high-volume kitchen preferred.
  • Strong work ethic and reliability in fast-paced environments.
  • Ability to follow food safety and sanitation procedures.
  • Comfortable standing, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds for extended periods.
  • Team-oriented mindset with clear, professional communication.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure all plates, utensils, pans, and smallware’s are thoroughly washed, sanitized, and returned to service in a timely manner.
  • Safely operate dish machine, and cleaning equipment while following proper chemical handling procedures.
  • Assist HOH by providing clean pans, utensils, and trays quickly to keep service flowing, especially during peak hours.
  • Maintain order in dish area, properly stacking clean wares and organizing storage areas for efficiency and safety.
  • Empty trash as needed and maintain cleanliness of waste stations. Follow health code and restaurant guidelines for cleanliness, including sweeping, mopping, and keeping work areas free of hazards.
  • Complete final breakdown, cleaning, and sanitizing of dish station, floors, and equipment to set up for the next shift.
