About The Position
The Dishwasher is responsible for cleaning and organization of all dishes, pots, pans, flatware, drinkware, and any other item(s) required to be cleaned within the venue. This is completed through a knowledge and application of safety and sanitation principles, and an awareness of venue need. In addition, the Dishwasher is expected to identify opportunities to assist other staff by actively seeking out dirty, used or soiled items ready for cleaning. This may be at other stations within the kitchen, or elsewhere in the venue.
Requirements
- Familiarity with culinary standards and kitchen equipment
- Good communication skills, and experience working with staff on all levels
Responsibilities
- Work hours as scheduled and additional hours when requested
- Follow directions and demonstrate teamwork
- Work well with others in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent time management skills
- Maintain safety and sanitation standards working with food
