We are seeking reliable and dependable part- and full-time Dishwashers to join our team. In this essential role, you will support our kitchen operations by ensuring that all dishware, utensils, cookware, and food preparation equipment are thoroughly cleaned, sanitized, and properly stored. Your efforts will help maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen environment, contributing to the smooth operation of our dining services.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous dishwashing or kitchen experience is preferred; experience in a long-term care or healthcare setting is a plus.
- A genuine passion for serving and supporting older adults.
- Strong work ethic with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Positive attitude, reliability, and a team-oriented mindset.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in a long-term care or healthcare setting is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Wash, sanitize, and store dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing and kitchen areas.
- Dispose of trash and assist with routine cleaning tasks as needed.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and infection control guidelines.
- Support the kitchen team to ensure efficient meal service.
- Assist with other kitchen duties as assigned.
