Join the Opening Team at the New Beach Club Fripp Island Golf & Beach Resort is preparing to open the newly reimagined Beach Club Restaurant—and we are building an exceptional team to bring it to life. Located in the heart of Fripp Island’s Beach Club complex, this new restaurant will combine a relaxed coastal setting with warm, attentive hospitality and consistently excellent food and beverage experiences. More than a restaurant opening, this is an opportunity to help establish the culture, service standards, and traditions of a destination our members and resort guests will enjoy for years to come. We are seeking energetic, dependable, and hospitality-minded people for culinary, service, bar, support, and leadership positions. Requirements

  • Ability to work safely, quickly, and reliably in a busy kitchen environment.
  • Ability to follow chemical, sanitation, safety, and equipment instructions.
  • Strong attendance, teamwork, organization, and willingness to support changing priorities.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous dishwashing, stewarding, restaurant, housekeeping, or sanitation experience is preferred but not required.
  • Food-handler certification is not required unless assigned food-handling duties or cross-trained into food production.

Responsibilities

  • Wash, sanitize, inspect, and properly store dishes, utensils, cookware, containers, and smallwares.
  • Clean pots, pans, racks, tools, and approved equipment components.
  • Maintain dish areas, floors, drains, sinks, walls, mats, carts, trash areas, and shared kitchen spaces.
  • Remove trash, cardboard, recycling, and other waste safely and on schedule.
  • Use cleaning chemicals and protective equipment according to approved safety procedures.
  • Restock clean items, chemicals, towels, liners, and sanitation supplies.
  • Support receiving, storage, event setup, breakdown, and general kitchen operations when assigned.
  • Report equipment problems, chemical concerns, breakage, pests, leaks, and unsafe conditions promptly.
  • Assist with basic food preparation only after training and specific assignment.
  • Perform other reasonable duties related to the position, training, and operational needs.
